What capability is more important to you in deciding on an XBOX 360 or PS3?
I took a look at the comments of some game developers and they state the 360 has better graphics hardware, but the PS3 has stronger processing power. So which would you choose? Better graphics or better Artificial Intelligence in the games?

PS3 has an eight core engine while the 360 ONLY HAS TWO.
The PS3s processor is x4 of the 360.
PS3 doesn’t get the Red Rings of Death.
The games are actually of a better quality in 1080p HD than 360; it’s been proven.
I also focus mainly on the exclusives for the system. And the ps3 is having plenty more soon.
I made that decision.
Either pay money to play on XBOX Live, pay for the internet.
Or just pay for the internet and not have to pay more just to play online (ps3)
I would go for the kind of games both system have. Graphics , video quality are similar in both system and I dont care about Blu Ray player coz I have a separate Blu Ray player.
I am fan of Halo series,Gear of War 1&2, Left for Dead , Bioshock(it came a year later on PS3). So for me there is no choice I have to go for X-Box 360.
Game consoles are for games so the most important thing what kind of game you offer and X-Box offers better games for people like me who are into violent super action and horror games.
Look at the success of Wii, as far as power and graphics are concerned it doesn’t stand near to X-360 and PS3 but it has such games and controlling that appeals enormously to a segment, that it became the most popular console of all time.
For end users, features are not important what are benefits they are getting out of these features, that are important.
The only reason some say the 360 has better graphics is because game designers were exclusively designing for that system… kind half-assed for the Ps3. But thats changing now… PS3 has a whole spate of exclusives coming up and developers now take the console much more seriously.
PS3 also had Blu-Ray and better HD capabilities…
PS3′s online play is FREE (as long as you have an internet connection)
PS3 is stable and doesnt get the RROD like the 360.
PS3 Home was released today! second life on your console essentially…again its FREE.
As far as to your question as what game function is more important (graphics or AI), I’d say it’d be AI. I can suffer through subpar graphics if it’s a great game (and great games need great AI). But I cant suffer through a beautiful looking game with lousy gameplay and lousy AI. Does that make sense?
The 360 is already being maxed out on its capabilities. The PS3 has the power for games in the future and has the potential. You will be getting 4 and 5 disc game sets for the 360, while because of the bluray discs for the PS3 only need one. Then again I also have both systems, and I got the PS3 second and I love it more.
ps3 has way better graphics! yeah it does have stronger proccessing power. i would choose the ps3, i am getting it for christmas. uhm, ps3 is beast, it has way better graphics, and artifical intelligence, also the 360 has the red rings. GO PS3!!!!
Better CPU all the way. Not only does the CPU effect the motion engine, but it also effects responsiveness from the the enemy and allies being controlled by the computer. 360 tends to base most of it’s games on the ability to play online, so its featured onscreen characters are being controlled by real people not the CPU. With the PS3 there is no need to worry about a laggy A.I. or being connected to the internet in order to get realism in a game. As for the graphics in a 360: they are slightly better than the PS3 but I don’t notice too much of a difference.
Neither of those capabilities matter when I’m deciding between a PS3 or Xbox 360. The only thing that matters to me is the games. For if a system doesn’t have games that you want to play, then why does it matter that it has better components than the competitor? So as far as games are concerned, both systems have their fair share of good games, but I happen to prefer the 360′s library slightly more than the PS3s.
xbox has a death ring, and will beak really soon. Ps3 has better graphics actually but very very slightly. I would choose ps3, because it have free online while xbox is $50 per year(thaT another game a year). The ps3 has more exclusive good games like, little big planet, resistance 2, kill zone 2
